SACRED MEDICINES PBC is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC), solidifying our commitment to creating a model for mission-driven and meaningful social impact.

  • We are working in collaboration with multiple committed individuals and organizations to develop plant medicine extracts. By taking the step to become a public benefit (hybrid) corporation, we commit (and are required) to meet higher standards of corporate purpose, accountability, and transparency.

  • We chose the PBC corporate model for Sacred Medicines so that we could prioritize the mission while funding our programs with both philanthropy and impact investments.

Our Vision

Reciprocity

RECIPROCITY

The Western use of sacred plant medicines must honor the indigenous traditions and culture, as these communities have so freely gifted their knowledge and medicines to Westerners over centuries.

Sustainable Agriculture

SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

The use of Sacred Plant medicines has grown in popularity throughout the Western World.  This growing demand has put stress on native plant habitats, concerning both environmentalists and indigenous people.  The key to protecting the wild populations of sacred plants is to  protect the entire Amazon rainforest.

Affordability & Accessibility

AFFORDABILITY & ACCESSIBILITY

Sacred Medicines is committed to making botanical extracts available to as many people who desire this medicine as possible. We commit to continuing to explore barriers to accessibility and affordability.
